A Renegade Provisions Co. hank is two layers, sewn closed, handmade in small batches. Here is what that means in detail.
The Face
The printed top of the hank — the side people see. Three different face materials across the line:
- Poly-cotton blend — the default for themed and collab designs. Holds bold print, drapes well, washes cleanly.
- Soft cotton — the Summertime cotton line. Lighter hand, summer-weight, warm-weather color palettes.
- Wool-polyester — the Wool line. Heavier, heritage hand, fall and winter palettes.
The Back
Optician-grade black microfiber on every single hank — the same kind of cloth your optometrist hands you with new glasses. This is the part that does the real work:
- Cleans eyeglass lenses, sunglasses, and reading glasses
- Clears riflescopes and binoculars without scratching coatings
- Wipes phone screens, tablet screens, and watch faces streak-free
- Catches dust off camera bodies and lens elements
Construction
- Two layers cut to ~8" × 8"
- Sewn closed on all four edges
- Handmade in small batches — expect slight variance in size and stitch
Care
Machine wash cold, hang dry. No dryer heat. Heat is what kills microfiber, period. Hang dry and it will outlast almost anything else in your pocket.
